The objective of the work is to track and optimize parameters controlling atomization of Pd – Rh powders in order to achieve a higher yield of micrometer sized powders (<53 mm). Experiments and analysis are carried out in order to investigate the effect of controlling parameters on the atomization process and the activity of molten Pd-Rh with the atomizer components.
