 Haiming Wen

Haiming has been a postdoctoral scholar since he obtained his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering with Prof. Enrique Lavernia from UC Davis in Aug 2012. He received his MEng in Materials Science and Engineering from Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in July 2008, and his BEng with honors in Ceramics Science and Engineering from Sichuan University, China in July 2005. During his PhD, Haiming worked on processing, microstructural characterization, deformation mechanisms and mechanical behavior investigation of bulk nanostructured copper and copper alloys. Now he is more focused on advanced microstructural characterization of alloys and composites by atom probe tomography (APT) and transmission electron microscopy, and on structure-property relationship. Haiming spends a lot of time at Northwestern University working on APT.
