Please spread the word.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3>2012 ASME Dynamic Systems and Control Conference and 2012 Motion &amp; Vibration Conference<\/h3>\n<h3><em>Single Track Vehicle Dynamics and Control Session<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>October 17-19, 2012, Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/dsc-conference.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/dsc-conference.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Information\u00a0<\/h2>\n<p>The long arm of the Bicycle and Motorcycle Dynamics (BMD)\u00a0research division\u00a0is organizing an\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">invited technical session\u00a0<\/span>at the 2012 Dynamic Systems and Control Conference. Papers are invited on original investigations related to the modeling, analysis, control, and handling of single track vehicles. Specific topics of interest include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bicycle, motorcycle, mono-cycle and unicycle modeling<\/li>\n<li>Robotic and autonomous control of single track vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Handling qualities<\/li>\n<li>Vehicle and rider system identification<\/li>\n<li>Education through bicycle dynamics<\/li>\n<li>Controller design: optimal, fuzzy, classical, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Steady turning<\/li>\n<li>Tire modeling and experimentation<\/li>\n<li>Rider biomechanics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You are invited to submit an abstract extended summary by\u00a0<strong>March\u00a010th<\/strong>to<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jkmoor@ucdavis.edu\" target=\"_blank\">jkmoor@ucdavis.edu<\/a>.<\/strong>\u00a0This submission should:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>be in an editable format (.odt, .txt, .tex, .doc)<\/li>\n<li>include author names, affiliation and contact information (at least email address)<\/li>\n<li>Title of paper(s)<\/li>\n<li>Half to full page abstract about the paper(s) you will submit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The current abstract submissions are:<\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/pub?id=1M2xAWDUnGSRLO-opnUdzzvfxPk_7-Ov3sktVdd1zpbM\" target=\"_blank\">Single Track Vehicles: the Vehicle<\/a>\u00a0(6 presenters)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/pub?id=1hxOkwrtwpBECufEG88TJMWmf4eV9dk0frfk7r0er0Zw\" target=\"_blank\">Single Track Vehicles: the Human Rider<\/a>\u00a0(7 presenters)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h2>Important Dates<\/h2>\n<p>The draft submissions are used to develop the sessions and the corresponding authors will receive a\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">session code<\/span>\u00a0to use for their on-line submission.
