Amit Pande completed his PhD from Iowa State University, USA in 2010 where he was awarded Research Excellence Award for his dissertation titled ‘Algorithms and Architectures for Secure Embedded Multimedia Systems’. Prior to this he completed his Bachelors in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee in 2007. His research interests are in multimedia systems, quality assessment, wireless networks, embedded systems, security, privacy, forensics and trust, wireless health and water sustainability. He was recently awarded ‘Excellence in Post-doctoral research 2010’ by UC Davis from a pool of 1000+ postdoctoral scholars across all disciples.
