Aggie Smart House

We installed second-life batteries from a Prius in a custom fabricated battery housing to perform energy management at a home scale with integrated PV.

The PV array, battery box, and inverters installed at the Aggie House.

Plots of the electrical demand of the Aggie House, and the amount of energy supplied by each source.

Plots showing the reductions in over all grid demand and grid dependency.

This project was decommissioned in 2017. The inverters and solar panels are now stored in the lab.
