Jason Dekarske (Ph.D. Candidate)

Jason studies methods for measuring the cognitive states of humans collaborating with robotic agents. His main work involves empirically determining dynamical cognitive state models through remote user interfaces. Using these models we’ll improve how autonomous robotic systems make decisions using automated planning. This research benefits anyone who interacts with advanced software autonomous agents, from self-driving cars to space habitats or domestic robotic assistants.
