A crane lifts a vibrator that is clamped to the top of a steel sheet pile. The sheet piles will support the sides of a small excavation that is need for preparation of the new overpass foundations.

A view of the vibrator on top of a sheet pile during driving. The vibrator has 2 opposing eccentric rotating masses that cause the vibrator to oscillate vertically. The vertical vibration enables the advancement (driving) of the pile through many different soil types.
